THIS IS MY BODY
How do we visualize the interior experience of intuitive running?
In an effort to illustrate body (and embodiment) in a subjective, holistic way, this piece explores the sensations of being a body, specifically the sensory experience of a run.
Visually, this piece relies on the interplay between light, shadows, and perspective to explore a new kind of narrative around running, and to illuminate the ever-present oscillation between subject and object* we experience.

INTUITIVE RUNNING
a term coined by Karly Borden, founder of the Public Run Club. Intuitive running is characterized by understanding our bodies as being cyclical, and views running as a form of self-advocacy and self-nurturance. It is rooted in the desire to “stay close to the feeling” (Borden).
